ABOUT
Momentum is an annual student conference for middle and high school students at Action Church. This high energy conference exists to activate students’ faith in Christ and give them Momentum to change their world. Students will participate in engaging Services, After Parties, Small Groups, Breakouts,
and an epic series of Tribe Wars that will bring them closer in community and in their relationship with God.

Momentum 2025 will be taking place at Action Church Winter Park - 1485 Grand Road, Winter Park, FL 32792.

We are always looking for ways to serve our students better, and we are excited to be offering separate Momentum experiences for Middle and High School students this year! We believe this shift allows us to tailor the content, schedule, and overall experience to best meet students right where they are. Middle and High schoolers are in different stages of life, facing unique challenges, pressures and experiences. By separating the conference experience, we can create an environment that speaks directly to what they are navigating, making Momentum even more impactful, relevant and engaging for your student! We can’t wait to see how God works in all of our students individually this year at Momentum.

Registration can be canceled and reimbursed up to 1 month before the conference. If you cannot attend and do not cancel before this date, your registration fee will be given to someone who is in need of a scholarship to attend. If you want to transfer your registration to a specific student, please contact rachel.vallery@theactionchurch.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

At Momentum, Small Groups are one of the most important things that we do. We do everything that we can to make sure your student is in the right group for them. Groups are determined based on age, gender, and home Action Church Location. If your student has a friend they are bringing, they can stay together during Small Group distribution.

No, Momentum is a three-day conference but does not last overnight. See details page for a daily schedule.

Students entering 6th Grade through students entering 8th Grade in the upcoming Fall are eligible to attend Momentum Middle School. Students entering 9th Grade through recently graduated High School Seniors are eligible to attend Momentum High School.

Students are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing that you can wear comfortably all day.

We recommend bringing something to take notes with and anything else you may need throughout the day. Please keep in mind that you will be moving around the building throughout the day. There will also be an opportunity to purchase Momentum merch so feel free to bring cash or a card.

When purchasing a ticket for Momentum, we recommend that your student is able to attend the entire conference. We understand that emergencies arise so if that is the case, please contact rachel.vallery@theactionchurch.com.

Our building is a background checked environment during Momentum. You are welcome to go as far as our check-in area with your student but beyond check-in, we have our amazing student leaders and staff members who will be taking care of your student throughout the day.

We will send an email a few weeks out with exactly what food will be served for each meal time. We recommend anyone with dietary restrictions plan on bringing snacks as we can not guarantee that catering options will be conducive to all needs. Gluten free meals will be available for students that indicated a gluten allergy/intolerance on the conference registration.
